What is HR AI Forward?
HR AI Forward is an AI maturity and growth assessment platform for HR professionals. It measures where you currently stand in your AI capability development using the HR AI Forward Maturity Framework — a 4-level, 12-stage model built specifically for HR work. You complete the assessment, receive a personalized report, and earn a verified credential if you reach Level 2 or above.
Who is the assessment for?
The assessment is designed for HR professionals at any level — HR generalists, HRBPs, talent acquisition specialists, L&D professionals, HR operations, HRIS, total rewards, and HR leaders. It is useful both for individuals who want to understand their own AI capability, and for HR teams whose leaders want a structured view of team readiness.
How long does the assessment take?
Most people complete the assessment in 15 to 25 minutes. It includes 4 profile questions (unscored), 18 core questions, 7 scenario questions, and 1 open-ended question. There is no time limit.
What does the report include?
Your personalized report includes: your assessed level and stage within the HR AI Forward Maturity Framework, a detailed capability profile analyzing your behavioral patterns, identified strengths in how you currently use AI, and a concrete growth direction — what to develop next and why. The report is generated using Claude (Anthropic's AI model) and is personalized to your specific assessment responses.
What framework does the assessment use?
The HR AI Forward Maturity Framework defines 4 levels: L0 Traditional HR, L1 AI-Enabled HR, L2 AI-Ready HR, and L3 AI-Native HR. Each level contains 3 stages, giving 12 stages in total. The framework describes distinct patterns of how AI is integrated into HR work — from no adoption through to AI-driven systems. You can read the full framework at hrforward.ai/framework.
What is the verified credential?
The AI-Ready Credential is issued to individuals who reach Level 2 (AI-Ready HR) or above in their assessment. It is a verifiable certificate that identifies your assessed level and stage. Each credential has a unique certificate ID that can be verified at hrforward.ai/verify.
Is this for individuals or teams?
Both. Individuals can purchase and complete the assessment independently. HR teams can also use HR AI Forward — a team leader purchases seats for their team, each member completes the assessment individually, and the leader receives a team summary in addition to each member's personal report.
How do I access my results?
After completing the assessment, your report is generated automatically and you are directed to it immediately. Your report link is also emailed to the address you provided. If you need to recover your report link later, you can use the link recovery page at hrforward.ai/en/recover.
Does my HR role or company size affect my score?
No. The profile questions — your role, company size, years of experience, and industry — are unscored. They are used to generate more accurate benchmarks in your report and to personalize the analysis, but they do not affect your assessed level or stage.
