What the Assessment Measures

The HR AI Maturity & Growth Assessment evaluates how HR professionals currently use AI across their day-to-day work. It does not test technical knowledge — it measures real behavioral patterns: how AI enters your workflow, how consistently it is used, and how structurally it is embedded into what you do.

  • Core questions assess current AI usage patterns across key HR functions
  • Scenario questions present realistic HR situations and ask how you would respond
  • An open question captures your self-described approach in your own words
  • Profile questions (role, team size, tenure, industry) inform benchmarks but do not affect your score

Traditional HR

AI has not yet entered the working style. Work relies on manual processes and traditional HR tools.

Manual HR

Works entirely through manual processes. No AI tools in daily workflow.

AI-Curious HR

Aware of AI but has not yet adopted it. Exploring what it means for HR work.

Early Trial HR

Has tried one or two AI tools in isolation, but without consistent use or structure.

AI-Enabled HR

AI is used as a personal productivity tool. Capability is real but still limited to individual task efficiency.

Tool Starter

Uses basic AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) for simple tasks. Still learning what is possible.

Regularly uses AI tools across several HR tasks. Comfortable with prompting and output editing.
